TEEWING WARRANTY POLICY
Warranty Eligibility
If you are a consumer (not purchasing for business or professional use), you are entitled to a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty applies within the European Union (excluding Malta, Cyprus, and the EU Outermost Regions) and the Contiguous United States. It only applies to products purchased directly from our online store, “teewing.com.” If purchased through a dealer or retailer, please consult them for warranty details.
Covered Items and Exclusions
The 1-year limited warranty covers electronic components (if applicable) and non-wearable parts such as the motor, controller, and battery. This warranty does not cover:
- Consumables, non-original or unauthorized components
- Normal wear and tear of covered components
- Damage or defects caused by failure to follow the owner's manual, accidents, theft, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modifications, improper assembly, operator error, water damage, extreme or stunt riding, or unauthorized maintenance
- Battery damage due to power surges, improper chargers, misuse, or extreme storage conditions (below -20° or above +45°C)
Wear and tear components are not covered, but we will offer support at a reasonable cost if necessary.
Warranty Process
Initiating a Claim
To begin the warranty process, please contact TEEWING customer service. We may request proof of purchase, a detailed description of the issue, and any photos or videos if possible. For safety reasons, refrain from using the product until the issue is resolved.
Resolution Options
We will work with you to resolve the issue, and potential solutions may include:
- Providing instructions for simple fixes
- Referring you to an official service point
- Allowing you to use a professional bicycle workshop of your choice with reimbursement for repair costs
- Arranging for the return of the product to TEEWING for repair
Replacement parts will be original or equivalent to the defective component. We will guide you through the necessary steps, and you or your chosen bicycle workshop will receive the replacement part if required.
Unauthorized Repairs
Always contact TEEWING for warranty claims and obtain prior authorization before proceeding with any repairs. Unauthorized repairs may invalidate your warranty as it prevents us from assessing the defect and determining if it qualifies for coverage.
