SWIFT Canada – Repair Terms & Conditions (2026)
Effective Date: July 2026
By dropping off, shipping, or authorizing the repair of any e-scooter, e-bike, electric unicycle (EUC), or other personal electric vehicle ("Vehicle") with SWIFT Canada, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Repair Terms & Conditions.
Diagnostic & Repair Estimates
A diagnostic inspection may be required before a repair estimate can be provided.
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once the diagnostic has been completed.
Repair estimates are based on issues identified during the initial inspection. Additional faults may be discovered during disassembly or testing.
If additional repairs are required, SWIFT Canada will make reasonable efforts to obtain customer approval before proceeding.
Repair estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change if additional issues are discovered during the repair process.
Repair Authorization
By leaving your Vehicle with SWIFT Canada, you authorize our technicians to:
Inspect and diagnose the Vehicle.
Test ride or operate the Vehicle when necessary.
Perform approved repairs.
Install approved replacement parts.
Estimated completion times are only estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to parts availability, supplier delays, repair complexity, or current workload.
Parts
Replacement parts may be OEM, aftermarket, refurbished, or equivalent-quality components depending on availability.
Special-order parts may require a deposit and may not be refundable once ordered.
Customer-supplied parts are installed at the customer's own risk.
SWIFT Canada is not responsible for failures caused by defective, incompatible, or improperly installed customer-supplied parts.
Storage Policy
Customers are expected to collect their Vehicle promptly once notified that repairs are complete or that no further work will be performed.
SWIFT Canada does not charge storage fees immediately after a repair is completed. However, if a Vehicle remains at our facility for an extended period after notification, or if communication has stopped for a prolonged period, a storage fee of $5.00 CAD per day may be applied at SWIFT Canada's discretion.
Where practical, customers will be notified before storage fees begin. Storage fees continue until the Vehicle is collected or otherwise handled according to these Terms & Conditions.
Abandoned Vehicles
Customers are responsible for maintaining communication with SWIFT Canada regarding their Vehicle.
If we receive no communication for 1–2 months, the Vehicle may be considered abandoned.
Before taking further action, SWIFT Canada will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the information provided.
