Warranty and Support

At Swift Canada, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality e-scooters and accessories. Understanding the warranty coverage for your purchase is essential to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience. Below, we outline key aspects of our warranty policies and the support services we offer.

Vehicle Warranty (E-Bikes, E-Scooters & E-Motos)

All electric vehicles purchased through Swift Canada Co., whether new or refurbished, include a limited warranty.

Most new vehicles come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty, which typically covers defects in materials or workmanship. Under this warranty, the manufacturer provides replacement parts, and Swift Canada Co. will cover the labour cost required to install those parts—provided the vehicle can be brought directly to our shop for service.

If you are unable to bring your vehicle to our location, we will make our best effort to assist you remotely and help provide the most effective solution possible.

For refurbished vehicles, a 3-month limited warranty is provided. This warranty covers major functional components but is shorter due to the nature of pre-owned equipment.

What Is Typically Covered

Warranty coverage generally includes:

  • Electrical components (controllers, displays, wiring harnesses)
  • Motors (in cases of manufacturer defect)
  • Battery issues related to manufacturing defects (within the specified warranty period)
  • Structural components such as the frame (manufacturer defects only)

What Is Not Covered

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Regular maintenance items such as flat tires, inner tubes, brake pads, brake adjustments, and general wear and tear
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper storage
  • Water damage or exposure to moisture beyond manufacturer guidelines
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs performed outside of Swift Canada Co.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

Brand-Specific Warranty Coverage

Each brand we carry offers distinct warranty terms for their products. It is important to familiarize yourself with the specific warranty details provided by the manufacturer of your e-scooter or accessory. Common considerations include:

  • Manufacturers typically cover parts for defects in materials or workmanship
  • Labour costs for installing these parts are generally not included in manufacturer warranties
  • Customers may be responsible for labour fees unless otherwise specified
  • Different components may have varying warranty durations
For example, batteries often have shorter warranty periods compared to frames or motors
  • Consumable parts such as tires, brake pads, and grips are typically excluded from warranty coverage
